About Hunter Collins
Leadership. Experience. Values.
I am twenty-six (26) years old and a proud resident of Dearborn County, Indiana. I live in Aurora with my lovely fiancé Haylee and our beautiful adopted daughter Johanna (Joey for short). Throughout my life I have always looked for ways to give back to my community. As a child, my mom and I would cook and deliver meals to sick elderly members of our church. Experiences like this instilled a desire to serve my community. As an adult, I have been a union organizer for the Amazon Labor Union KCVG. We have worked tirelessly fighting for the rights of workers to organize and negotiate for better pay, benefits, and a safer work environment. I will continue supporting the workers of our community, and help build up opportunities throughout the county.

I love Dearborn County with all my heart. It is my home. I know that the opportunities within our county are limitless with the right leadership. It’s time to breathe new life into Dearborn County and elect officials that will lead us into the future
Mission
Our mission is to build a safe and secure Dearborn County. A county that is prosperous with enough housing a good paying jobs.
Vision
Our vision is to uphold our sense of community pride, and to work together to bring new opportunities to our citizens.
Issues
Top Issues that voters consider important
We need to ensure that the residents of our county are safe and secure. Our EMS services throughout the county have been severely lacking. We've even made headlines on Channel 9 News. They referred to it as "A Matter of Life and Death". I will take action to ensure that every corner of our county is a safe place to live.
We have a vast need for more housing options throughout our county. Not only do we need more housing, we need it to be affordable. I will fight to bring in more housing opportunities to our county so that our economy can continue to grow.
Our economy can't grow without good jobs for our citizens. For too long people have had to travel outside of our county for good paying jobs. We need to attract businesses into our county that will help grow our economy and provide better wages for our citizens. I will fight for better jobs to come to our community, and I will continue to defend the union way of life.
The youth of our county is our future. They will grow up to be leaders in all sorts of fields. We need to ensure that our kids get the best education we can provide them. This includes teaching them skills that will help land them a good paying job. I will fight to equip our schools to prepare our children for the future.
